Santa heard Simon wanted to sleep in on Christmas morning so he stopped early while we were at the Children's Service at St. Paul's First Lutheran.
As you can see we had a great time. Uncle Bill 
thought Simon was the quitest kid at the service. No doubt because he slept through the whole thing. Great for us since he was up from 1 to 4 the night before. Don't feel bad for Katie, though, Derek watched a repeat of the prior night's Colorado Avalanche Hockey game from 6 to 8 am with Simon while Katie slept in. 
Enjoy the pictures of Simon opening presents with Grammy Gen and Grandpa Jim.Simon didn't appreciate his gift from Santa quite as much as he will in future years....
But once the paper came off and Grammy Gen was holding him he thought his board book version of Snowy Day (his dad's favorite book from long ago) was pretty.
Afterwords he went for a swing while the grown-ups opened the rest of his presents....
Stockings are great for napping.....Good Night!
