Week 2 nears its end.
Simon has his two week pediatrician appointment on Thursday. We are hoping as the date nears he is less yellow and growing into his 0-3 month clothes. He was found he likes to suck on his hand, enjoys hogging the bed with his mother between nine p.m. and four a.m., fusses at diaper changes and bath-time, and genrally sounds like a barnyard. Sometimes he smells like ivory snow and other times like curdled milk.
Grandma Beth left for North Carolina on Saturday and Simon is learning to ride in the car, cruise the aisles in a shopping cart, and stroll around the block with the the dogs on nice afternoons.

The ancient Great Gammy, who still wants to meet Derek, loves seeing the two grandmothers with Simon! I check your blog every day for new pictures of the magnificent FIRST great grandchild!!!! Love you so much.
