I was off to North Dakota this past week to take part in an Archaeological Geophysics seminar put on by the National Park Service. I met lots of archaeologists doing new and interesting things with electro-magnetics, radar, resistance, and down-hole susceptibility. That's why there's some lag time in the posts.

But what why would you want to hear about my boring science when what you really want is to hear about Simon?

Simon had a busy week. While dropping me off at the airport in Seattle Simon found a new friend and she came home with him and his mother for the week. They had a great time and then when it was time to pick me back up at the airport Simon sent her home to the rest of her family.(In case you are shocked and didn't know, the vagrant traveler was, in fact, Aunt Hannah visiting while in transition between Chicago, Virginia, Tennesee, South Carolina, etc...)

Two new top teeth! Even though you can't see them in this photo.

Cheesy Sisters and a Cool Dude in his Zebra Sunglasses

Cool Dude again sporting his super-sweet, hand-knit hat made by his Aunt Hannah. The waterfront in PA can still be a bit chilly even though it is almost Summer. The spot where Simon and Hannah is standing is the exact location of my Racoon Standoff from January. I bet they didn't know they are standing directly over the home of at least seven Racoons who like to steal snacks from construction workers in the early morning hours.....
