Our beautiful summer weekends have been filled with yardwork, farmer's market, cooking and baking. These keep Simon's attention and when he isn't asking for me to turn on the hose or mow the grass he is helping stir or knead. Katie made the comment yesterday that he has turned into what she considers a "true toddler" based upon her experiences as a pre-school teacher: covered in grime by noon and greasy the remainder of the day. Take note of his face in the baking photo. He does love his berries. He likes wearing them too!
