Despite round two of ear infections and colds we managed a great afternoon of pumpkin carving and tooling around the neighborhood today.

I knew Simon would be into the pumpkins after last year, but Finn surprised us by sampling the pumpkins and getting right into the mix. We took the borrowed excersaucer back today as Finn no longer has any interest in being imprisoned by such infantile mechanisms.

After the pumpkins were carved Simon and Finn took a spin around the driveway on trike and truck and then conviced Katie and I that a wagon ride and dogwalk was in order. Too bad it started pouring two blocks into the walk.

The little scaliwags are playing together very well these days. As you can see the Mega-Bloks provide tons of fun be it in the hallway or under the table...

We appreciate the fact that Finn is basically eating what we eat these days so here he is with homemade chicken and rice soup all over his face.
