Our week has included a whole lotta horsin around.
We even had some evening snow to practice our names. Our new deck is great for hanging out during snow flurries. Check out Simon's great writing of Finn's name. I can't say, however, that he wrote his name on the other side.
The next morning after the flurries there was just enough snow for a quick sled before it melted. Katie and I finally remembered to get the boys a couple sleds for the couple times a year it does snow here. Today we're back to a drizzly/rainy 50 degrees.
But no matter the wetness outside: Inside is warm and delicious. We have fresh whole wheat pitas courtesy of Katie and friends are coming over for Greek Tacos (I made it up- kind of like gyros but more like tacos where the taco meat is lamb with allspice, cumin, and cinnamon; the salsa is fresh tzatiki, the lettuce is spinach, and the cheese is feta). We'll let you know how it is. Now I must go. Guinea Pigs, I mean friends, are due to arrive soon.
