Hitch up here big brother and lets map out our week.
Today was Olympic National Park Day for us. We started with a hike to Marymere Falls west of home.
And after crossing through the tunnel under the road we found ourselves transported magically (via Pacifica) to the high altitude winter of Hurricane ridge.
It was foggy, snowy, and a bit chilly. So we did what any kids might. We made snow angels and a teeny tiny snowman.

The rest of the week was spent finding new fascinating things:

Like Corn on the Cob for Finn, and Dad's awesome lego building skills for Simon. Who knew he could build such awesome things without directions? He just needed a day with us where he didn't have a hundred other projects and errands.

Oh, yeah. And Finn got to take part in his older classmates graduation party in his school program. He gets to go back in the Fall (maybe, he's getting awfully chatty these days and they might not let him back in...).

Next week looks to be busier yet. Father's Day, Simon's schoolmate Tanner's Birthday Party, week two of swimming lessons, and hopefull more grilling, chilling, and gardening.

Derek,
I was at a conference in Blgs this week and met Torry. Missed his last name but says he is a lifelong family friend and that your dads are friends. VERY fun to share with him and very proud to say I know you all :) :)
