Boy oh boy, it sure was hot in North Carolina. Hot enough to make you want to wear a bucket on your head so your brain won't melt.
Despite the heatwave we had some fun- With Sharks and Pizza! The science museum was super cool and music in the mountians with brick-oven pizza rocked.
We found a creek near the mountain house Boo and Pops rented and I showed off my cliff diving form (just the form, not the diving...)
We met our cousins. It was 2nd cousin Eleanor's first birthday a couple weeks ago so we had a party. We saw tons of our only cousin Cyprus. She thinks we're a couple of cool fools. Uncle Josh and Aunt Arden took us all to the baseball game to see the Asheville Tourists and the Hickory Crawdads.
We had nice visits with the Great's and even met our new cousin (once-removed) Dorrie.
Boy did the grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles wear us out. Mom couldn't have been happier.

At the end of the trip Uncle Josh surprised us with his really stinky breath. It made Finn throw up for a couple days.
