Just to prove that we made it all day in the snow...
We took full advantage of my vacation day today shoveling snow from 9 to 10; Gluten-free apple cinnamon coffee cake from 10-1; back out from 11- 1 to build the fort./maze; lunch, rest and blogging from 1-3; then back out for dog walking, sled touring, and finally some darkness fun in the snow maze with the neighborhood from 3 to 5:30. Now the boys are having popcorn and are peacefully watching Mr. Popper's Penguins. The storm is over and it looks like this fantastic winter playground will be turning to ice and slush for the next few days.
