Boo and Pops blew in for a quick visit this week and then sailed out just as fast for Colorado to party it up with their more fun, more mobile, and more exciting (no kids, duh.) daughter Hannah and son-in law Zach. They were able to spend Monday evening through to Thursday morning with us and experienced our life as we know it. With this springtime midweek visit the grandparents got in on pre-school pick-up and drop-off, soccer practice, Hapkido, dog walks, baths, bedtimes, and quick meals. They found time to hike Marymere Falls in the sun and scanned Webster's Woods in drizzle.
And with me at work there was one less mind to remember things like taking pictures. So you'll just have to imagine the majority of the visit... and we look forward to photo-documenting the next one.
Today we are fighting a malfunctioning hot water heater but found time to catch a Lady Pirates soccer game (to prove to our eldest and chauvinistic child that girls can, in fact, play soccer better) and Katie attended a sewing class last night. She was the queen of the sewing circle after making this fantastic bag. Perhaps tomorrow will hold a new adventure (and not of the breaking car or collapsing home type). Stay Tooned.
