Port Angeles may not have Disneyland but it apparently has "CULTURE."
We went searching for some (culture?) this morning and after wandering through the trees we found a magic portal that looked surprisingly like pie, or was it Pi?

So We marched through the labyrinth...
...only to find Katie wrapped in a Willow Egg.

The boys met the Pine Cone Shaman in the cedar grove. He taught them the magic salute and then took them to the hill of giant chairs where things started getting really weird.

But the boys were able to find a mystery mushroom fountain under the hilltop palace and washed away the shaman's pollen potion.

Normalcy returned and we ended our trip into Port Angeles Culture (with a capital C) by throwing pennies into a fountain and wishing we could be just as cultured as Grammie and Grandpa someday.

Right before things got weird we were able to coax one squinty yet picturesque photo opportunity overlooking Port Angeles Harbor straight across the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Vancouver Island. And then it started to Rain...
