We had a good 4th and hope you all did as well. It was generally calm. We had burgers, dogs, Cajun shrimp, and fresh caught dungeness crab (and my homemade potato salad) with friends. We families with young kids shot off some mid afternoon fireworks and then made for home. We set a few smoke bombs and then went to the parade and heckled the politicians from the incorrect party, heckled our friends walking in the parade, and heckled the other children who were duking it out over candy with Simon and Finn. Now the boys are in bed dozing off to the sounds of sky rockets. No late night fireworks for them.I have two days of work left this week.Good Night.
