Yo Yo Yo and a Ho HO HO. We're two dudes wild and crazy, and our Dad is really lazy. The blog is overdue and that sure stinks pee-eew.  Apologies we ask, we've taken our old man to task. The holidays were busy and our attitudes fo-shizzy. But Santa's come and gone and nothing went too very wrong. So please cut our Dad some slack he nearly had a heart attack, trying to make Christmas really nice and see he's given up his vice: no more Jack or Gin for him he's been sippin just plain juice (and that makes him not so loose). But the tree got blinged and carols got singed and So the season may be ending but a New Year's wish we're sending... So here's recalibration of our Christmas celebration with our Christmas bright and cheery in our Casa de la Beery!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It didn't snow for Christmas, per se; but there was a skiff during the last week of December that really stoked the mood.
Finn got to show off his singing and swinging skills at the Holy Trinity Pre-school celebration and Dad even got away from work to take in the extravaganza!
Then Grammie and Grandpa flew in for some festivities. They came with a plethora of exciting things including this bike-chalker that kept the boys busy for those tense, cookie fueled, last few hours leading up to the Christmas Eve service.
Efter enjoying some outdoor time we headed in for a movie and a few early present to tide over some eager gift appetites...
Mom and Dad really were excited to have some new clothes to wear for the Church Service. Even if they wouldn't let the boys open their big presents early.

Still, the Boys maintained a moderate level of crazy long enough to get through some family photos and home from church.
And then the wrapping paper flew...
 And flew...

And flew...

Until the boys were old enough to grow moustachios and move out of the house.

 Not really...

The next couple days were spent with adults assembling the mad heap of cowboys and indians, space alien insects, elves and orcs.
And as soon as Grammie and Grandpa left for Montana, the boys turned on their Mom and tried to use their presents from Santa to overtake her last control over the remaining Christmas candy stash. She still won. Dad was already back at work with hardly a break.

And now we find ourselves at the turn of the Year 2012. It wasn't bad. To celebrate the "not so badness" we had homemade pizza and shot some confetti bombs in the dining room.

We should aslo note that today the boys opened their first savings accounts and the bank hates us for the hundred pounds of coins we rolled and dropped on them this morning. Then Simon and Dad enjoyed the Hobbit this afternoon. We wanted to hike Marymere Falls but a steady drizzly of near ice kept us inside. Perhaps tomorrow better weather will roll our way. We can always hope.

Bad Weather or not- we wish you all a joyous new year and thanks so much for all you do for us every day!
