It was the first above 70 degree day of the year and our first on the Peninsula since September. In fact, based on a quick web search, I believe we only had 7 or 8 above 70 all year in 2012. That means we enjoy 77 when we get it. So enjoy it we did...
Be sure, we hit WalMart in white trash style at 9:30 am this bright and fine Sunday morning for Slipn'slides, Minute-maid lemonade, squirt guns, watermelon, Ruffles, and plastic cups. All that was missing from our cart was Keystone Light and red-cased hot dogs.
So the neighborhood descended upon us with sun-baked fury....
We rock and rolled heavy metal style all day.
Simon and Finn have no tan lines to prove they were wearing sunblock everywhere but their cracks and crannies.
And the neighborhood still had enough energy to join us for some S'mores later!
