Easter- yet one more high expectation holiday for little boys.  It's barely 8:30am and we've already had two egg hunts, eaten chocolates, complained that the E.B. didn't bring any toys like he did last year, had breakfast, fist fought, demanded iPad time to play Minecraft, eaten more chocolates, and are now about to head out for our Sunday dog walk.

Simon nearly caught the Easter Bunny hiding eggs in the backyard.  I think he faked being asleep and then jumped up at the slightest noise.  He doesn't seem to have put the whole of the pieces together though... not yet, anyway.

Yesterday we did the Grand Coulee Dam egg hunt and dyed some eggs. Both were general fun.  The boys had a great time at the egg hunt standing in the starting area with their friends. It was quite a race.  The polite and friendly kids may not have made out like bandits but they each scored some chocolate filled eggs.

Our egg hunt this morning at home was a mad, 6:30am, ultra-dash affair. You'll have to take my word (and a blurry picture) for it. 50 eggs were found in under 3 minutes. I think it took them less time to recover the eggs than it did for the Easter Bunny to hide them... Right now we're in the sweet spot between sugar high and sugar crash. Oh, wait...  I hear some attitude in the hallway. Sweet Spot over.
