Climbing wall coulee dam

The climbing wall is reconstructed.  Instead of inside the garage, this one is on the back of a playfort. Katie and I did a pretty rad job. It has a four angle ledge.  We mortared the joints, textured it, painted it and then gave it a spray of another color. I think it looks and feels like rock. It climbs great too!

Now that the north face is done we have more time to skate.  Both boys have some bruises and scrapes to show from the session this afternoon.  Finn mastered the short ramp on his new golden dragon board. Simon is tenaciously working on learning a backside turn on the big quarter pipe. I can't wait until they're better than me. It shouldn't be long...

Earlier this week it was min-bloomsday at school. Simon got lost in the starting pack and couldn't catch one mouthy little puke he calls his friend.  He did great and took the verbal diarrhea of " I told you so- who's the greatest?" from the kid in-stride. Second place for first grade is pretty great and I'm pretty sure that kid will eat Simon's dust next time.

A lot of the kids had to walk most of the mile race. Please pump your fists for this screen time limited family!
