Due to overwhelming response, here are the last-minute-to-completion pics of the sand sculptures from this afternoon. Feel bad for the rookie from Holland whose lightbulb collapsed on her sometime between 11am and 4pm today.... My favorite was the "Internet Goddess" she is very intricate and complex in design but not as "busy" as many of the others. The Cellist was very cool too. I had a good chuckle with the sculptor of the Neolithic man as he was carving the stone tool with a trowel. I told him that my job was to remove the sand from around an already formed object using the same toolkit as he was creating a replica of a similar tool from nothing but the sand... His repsonse was something along the lines of "irony is all around us..." Deep Thoughts.
