Spring has sprung in these parts and what does that mean? More biking!

Saturday morning we packed up and pedaled down the Olympic Discovery Trail to check out the Dry Creek Bridge. Its still standing even if an archaeologist did had dig some of the the pier pads.
Simon spotted the beautiful sandstone creek bed a couple hundred feet below.
So we trooped down the bank to give it a check.
Dry Creek is a neat little spot when you don't have to share it with the local methhead scum. The trail crew has cleaned it up nicely. Last time I was down there a shopping cart, a wheelbarrow, and a set of broken golf clubs made a tenuous little bridge.

Now all you have to do is hop the crevice. I once rescued a dog from here. He couldn't get out after going for a swim. It was spring and there was a lot more water crashing down Dry Creek.

It was a muddy ride and what do you do with dirty bike?
You get out the hose and get to work.
Or at least one of us does...
Gotta go. More riding to do. Have a nice spring-ish weekend everyone!
