The theme for today's blog is: " moving faster than film..." Simon is apparently doing his "Gun Bunker" interpretive dance in this photo and moving too fast to actually have a face in this frame. Finn may be digging a projectile from his nose.
Our Sunday outing today was to Salt Creek. Here the boys wistfully watch the surfers taking advantage of some small but somewhat consistent knee high breakers. What you don't see is my "why didn't I bring my wetsuit and board grimace?" We also scouted the best spot to pitch our tent when we camp here very soon.
The tide was high (we knew it would be but the weather was best this morning). We still found a sliver of beach beneath the rocks to look at shells and do some rock hucking.
Simon and Finn capped off their squirmy morning with a sprint down the hill to the finish line. Finn almost won.
