The Boys entered Labor Day weekend prepared for Battle with a capital B. What they didn't realize is they'd be battling the first cold bug of the season and have to skip a birthday party today...
So like any Dad with sick kids I set out for some indoor fun despite some gorgeous late summer weather. Swain's really does have everything: lightning bug gummy candy (Don't worry- its the tweezers that glow not the candy...).
I also scored some color your own action figures. Permanent markers, folks. It was risky but these two big boys kept in on the figure and off the table, off their chests, and off their clothing. And they turned out pretty well!
Finn's is a Robot with Pink lips and mustache. Simon's is a pink, purple, and yellow dragon wolf. They're pretty killer if you ask me and except for the capes and scarves I was hands off.
This was the scene about an hour ago. Duplo-city and passed out Momma. Wish us luck. We're tired and they're just hitting their peak from lack of outside time.
