Wait is that an extra kid? Did we finally purchase the little sister that the boys ridiculously and regularly beg for? No, that's Hana my college friend Andy's youngest daughter. They came for the weekend and she kept the boys entertained with her whirlwind personality for 48 hours.
We had a busy week filled with school activities, work, and other things.  One highlight was attending our first school performance by Simon and all the other Hamilton Kindergarteners.   They did swell singing about things like "High and Low" and "Pianissimo and Forte" and "George Washington."

By Sunday we were feeling trapped by a closed swimming pool and bad weather so we tried something new. Now we are kicking ourselves for not hanging out at the bowling alley sooner. What a blast! It's still standing after we bowled two games!  They even have automatic bumpers that you program to come up when its the kids' turn. What a concept!

Now we're home. I snuck in a quick grilling of turkey burgers between downpours and we ate them with fresh garden spinach and radish salad. What will tomorrow hold? More rain I'm sure.

Oh yes: and the boys Face-Timed with Grammie and Grandpa and finally proved to them that Simon and Finn really are a couple of caged, crazed chimpanzees at home when out of public view. Just wanted you readers to know that...
