Well the only fair around here is the third weekend in August.

Simon is on the Crazy Bus- By Himself!
Count Simon among the enthralled massess of Carnival fanatics.
Definitely a trait he inherited from me and not Katie.
Here is his first ride ever, a fire truck of course. He was so determined to have fun he didn't relax until the very end. But once that one was out of the way- he was ready for anything.
---including a ride on the Demolition Derby -quite fast, quite bumpy, and lots of spinning. He had a riot (so did I).
After some Thai noodles (Finn killed the whole plate) I went to the City booth for four hours of lovely public interactions while Katie and the boys visited the animal barns. Simon apparently had lots to say. Finn was busy digesting the Thai Noodles.

On the homefront our little adventurers have put together quite the expedition kit. Rubber boots are currently required for any adventure. Backpacks and helmets are required.
The baby gate is no longer a Finn-Proofing method and he constantly rummages the house looking for intersting new experiences. He has learned to use the Ipod and the TV remote.

Looks like fun! We're looking forward to the fair here at the end of Sept. And I can't get over Finn in that last pic!
