We've been to Montana!

The boys tromped up Waterworks Hill (one of their Mommy and Dad's favorite spots) with Grammie and Grandpa in tow.

From the Canyon River House we all had great fun on the patio and on the driving range and the boys talked to some firefighters and experienced a real Montana thunder, lightning and hailstorm...

Simon, Grandpa and I golfed 18 holes and tore up the driving range. Simon is some kind of wicked with his nerf putter.

"Finn, you've been such a mighty and dirty gardener this week. Is that a petunia growing out of your bellybutton?"

We finished the visit with a picnic at our aunt and uncles house. All their kids were home-maybe for the first time since Mom and Dad got married. We have all kinds of new cousins and Finn relished the opportunity to meet at the smaller ones. They also got to hang out with Great Grandpa Mark and make some homemade Ice Cream.
When we got home the yard needed some TLC. I really enjoy the fact that I can hand the two mudmonkeys the hose and tell them which tree to water and they jump to it. But that poor maple. After they found out how fun it was to hang onto the tree and jump up and down in the mud, they spent the next 15 minutes refilling the hole with dirt from the side of the house.
